Can I schedule a tour of the property?
Absolutely! We would love to show you around and hear all about your wedding vision!! If you would like to schedule a tour, click the link above and you can pick at date and time at your convenience.
What is the Building Capacity?
The capacity of the building is 150 guests.
How many hours will be covered in the rental?
You will get use of the venue for a 14 hour time block (16 hours with photography package). That will give you plenty time for set-up, getting ready, your event and take-down.
Am I able to have my rehearsal there?
One weekday hour is included in the rental fee for rehearsal (2 hours with photography package). Rehearsals will be scheduled based on availability and will be scheduled 60 days prior to the wedding to pick the most convenient date/time available.
Am I able to have my rehearsal dinner there?
Absolutely! You can add on another day to your package and get a $1,000 off the rate. We even have a full weekend
package for those who want to have rehearsal dinner AND a send off brunch.
Does the rental includes tables and chairs?
The rental fee includes ceremony chairs, buffet tables, 48" round tables, 42" rounds, cocktail tables, 10 farmhouse tables with a matching sweetheart table, 2 custom portable bars, and cross back reception chairs for 150 guests. When you arrive at your contracted time, your tables and chairs will be set up as per the layout you provide. At the end of the evening, we will break-down all tables and chairs.
Will the New Branch Farms staff help me with set-up?
Help with additional set-up is not included in the rental fee although we do have options that include help with set-up and/or flipping the room if needed.
Am I limited on the vendors I can use?
You are not limited on the vendors that you can use but they must be licensed and insured and they must be approved by our staff. A list of approved vendors is included in the brochure above.
What is your alcohol policy?
If you are planning to serve alcohol at your event, we do allow you to bring in your own alcohol but you must hire a licensed and insured company to serve. If alcohol is served (or if guest count is over 100), county law states security must be on property for safety. There is an additional charge of $50.00/hr to hire an off-duty police officer during the period alcohol is served.
Is there any lodging near by?
Yes there is. There is a Hampton Inn, Econo Lodge and The Smithfield Station within 15 miles of New Branch Farms. Or, ask about our on-property accommodation availability.
Are dogs allowed at the venue?
Yes. We love when couples include their fur baby in their celebration! We even have a mini dog park to keep them safe and entertained before and after the ceremony. There is a small fee for poop pickup because, well... poop happens.
